Frequently asked questions

Is this the official government site?

No. SAM.gov is the official source and it is free. Conexo Gov republishes its public data, adds past-award context from USAspending.gov and sends alerts. Always confirm on SAM.gov before responding.

Do I need to register with SAM.gov to bid?

Yes. To receive a federal contract your business needs an active SAM.gov registration and a Unique Entity ID (UEI). Registration is free; never pay a third party for it.

What is a set-aside?

A contract reserved for a type of small business (for example women-owned, veteran-owned, 8(a) or HUBZone). Only eligible firms can compete, so there is less competition.

Can I use Conexo Gov in Spanish?

Yes. The whole site, the alerts and the AI analysis are available in Spanish. The official notices stay in English, as published by the agency.
